I don't know which chapter had the most profound impact, but the entire section of where she let go of the things that no longer served her in her journey was profound! The part about childhood trauma, being real and how it shapes many of us... are the feelings that we carry around current day. It also made me reflect upon being a mom and what my children may feel about the environment they were raised in. Did I make them feel overlooked or unloved?Or was I too busy for them? I especially enjoyed all of the scriptures that were very appropriate.And inserted, right at the very point of where we would question ourselves! Perhaps for me, one of the most profound takeaways was in chapter ten, where she says: failure does not happen unless you quit on this journey and she wrote... "give yourself grace!" It may sound like such a small and easy thing to do but for women like me.It is one of the most difficult steps to ever take.
