"I love me" is not something we say often, but why not?
It's because our pats on the back tend to come from how we love others and not how we love ourselves. We get so used to giving our love away that we lose track of saving some for ourselves.
Another reason we fail to be so open with showering ourselves with love is because we don't want to seem as if we are too high and mighty or arrogant. "Who does he/she think they are"? No one wants to live with that type of criticism.
However, I got news for you. When you love yourself, you reaffirm the greatness that God gave you. You were not a mistake. You were chosen to be here. Your presence and gifts matter. To not show love to yourself every day is a sure-fire way to self-destruction. It all starts and ends with how you love YOU.
I created the I Love Me Too Movement to celebrate YOU, uplift YOU, and remind YOU to love you too.
So, after your read this, I want you to go to the bathroom mirror, look right at yourself, and say, "I LOVE ME TOO"!
It's time to THRIVE! It's time to LOVE YOU TOO!
